About Kaneko Kohyo

Kaneko Kohyo ceramics began in 1921 when Ito Kohyo established the first kilns in a small mountain near Toki City, Japan. Renowned for its exquisite casting techniques used in shrine and altar items, the Toki region set the foundation for the brand’s craft. Ito’s son, Terumi, later expanded the family business alongside Japan’s economic growth, introducing new finely cast products. Today, Kaneko Kohyo continues to create handmade ceramics that blend tradition with elegance, honoring the heritage, distinctiveness, and artistry of Mino-yaki pottery.

These items are made to order, they might require 4-9 weeks of lead time. Delivery time varies due to item natures, delivery location etc. As the estimated delivery date approaches, our team will send you an update to confirm. Once pre-order goods arrive at the warehouse, they will be shipped out immediately.
